GENESIS OF MANASA

Manasa has been conceptualized and developed with specific aim and its GENESIS is interesting as:

The concept of ‘service journey’ emerged from a group of women lecturers who saw the challenges of some of their colleagues having children with intellectual disabilities. The Association “MANASA” was established by a group of 13 Senior Women Academicians of R.B.V.R.R. Women’s College, Narayanaguda, Hyderabad during the year 1991. At present the Special Mother is continuing as one of the Founders and actively involved in running the Organization in the capacity of President. Manasa has successfully completed its TWO DECADE Journey and entered into 24^th year of its SERVICE JOURNEY.
